“Purple Tea”
A unique educational program for women of the African American community in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Discussion and interactive demonstrations provide vital breast cancer information in a comfortable, social setting.

“Women’s Breast Health Program”
Implementation of outreach programs for women at risk and whose limited income prohibits them from obtaining routine mammograms, counseling and appropriate continued care.

“WARM – Women at Risk Mammogram Program”
Screening/diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds and assistance with surgical consultation and breast biopsies for women aged 40 to 49 who are uninsured, underinsured or underserved.

“Project Aware"
A breast cancer education and awareness program for low-income and uninsured Caribbean women ages 40-64 residing in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties.

“Komen Breast Care Program"
Education and free screening mammograms, extra view mammograms and ultrasounds (if needed) for women aged 40 to 49 who are uninsured, underinsured or underserved. Also provides a personal link for those who receive a diagnosis to available community resources.

“A Comprehensive Approach to Breast Cancer”
Care, education and financial counseling with emphasis on strategies to empower women to be aware of mechanisms, resources and actions to better protect their breast health – “patient navigation.” Provides for services and limited BRCA genetic testing.

“Health Alliance Breast Care Project”
A collaboration between Health Alliance, Inc., Health Central Hospital and Shepherd’s Hope. Provides symptomatic women who are uninsured or low income with screening and diagnostic procedures.

Hispanic Health Initiatives
“Mi Salud En Mis Manos (My Health In My Hands)”
A breast health care program that educates Central Florida-area Latinas and refers them to low cost or free mammograms and clinical breast exams in their own communities.

“Knowing is Living”
Free breast cancer education programs and screening services, including mammography, to low income and/or minority women in an effort to increase breast cancer diagnosis at earlier stages.
