Race Participants, Sponsors, Donors and Volunteers,
On behalf of the Race Committee and Affiliate Board of Directors, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your help in making our 10th Anniversary Race our most successful Central Florida Race For The CureŽ yet. As a result of your significant efforts and dedication, we have raised almost $500,000. This money will help fund breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs in Central Florida. The Komen Race For The CureŽ is an international series of road races presented by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The Race provides money to help fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. There are over 100 Races in the U.S., as well as three international Races.
The 10th Anniversary Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Central Florida Race for the CureŽ was held on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Disney's Animal KingdomŽ Theme Park.
